MACHINIST

 

 

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Measure, mark, and scribe dimensions and reference points on materials or work pieces as well as select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, turning, grinding attachments, accessories, and materials.
  • Calculate and set controls to regulate cutting and turning factors such as speeds and feeds.
  • Start and observe machine operation and adjust machine controls or offsets as required to maintain tolerances.
  • Machine parts and components within the specified tolerances, with limited scrap and in time with the production as scheduled.
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and quality standards.
  • Confer with production personnel or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • CNC experience is welcomed.
  • Participate and be active in your team’s efforts for continuous improvement.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Individual must be dependable and hard working.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent with knowledge of basic math and 3+ years in a machining environment.
  • Knowledge of the proper use of measuring tools/gauges and cutting tools.
  • Understanding of prints.
  • Available to work overtime as needed.

WELDER

 

 

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • To set up and operate MIG, TIG, stick & arc gauging machines, grinders, plasma torches, press brake and other metal fabricating equipment.
  • Produce parts or components to the necessary quality standards established.
  • Read prints and work orders and follow through with processes as directed.
  • Iron Work experience a plus.
  • Participate and be active in your team’s efforts for continuous improvement.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Individual must be dependable and hard working.
